How to cure a burned mouth

Burns on the tongue heal faster than on the roof of the mouth, since the tongue has the most blood vessel supply in the entire body.

However, the pain can be searing since the skin here is more sensitive than other parts of the body, and it doesn't have any fat between the skin and the bones. As a result, it usually lingers two to three days.

Burned mouth can be healed quickly by sticking to a soft diet like yogurt and sushi, avoiding spice, noodles, soup, iced drink and hot foods eat lukewarm food - room temperature.

Coffee, wine and soda should all be off the menu for days. These foods are acidic, they will irritate skin as it's healing, potentially delaying the healing process.

Bacteria in an open wound can lead to infection and prevent healing. After a burn, brush your teeth thoroughly, use mouthwash, and drink plenty of water to wash out any built-up food or bacteria from your mouth.

Alzheimer's gene and poor diet increase the risk of developing the disease

Alzheimer’s gene and diet rich in fat and sugar can increase the risk of developing the disease.
ApoE4 gene that affects memory is the major cause of Alzheimer's disease.

Genes, diet, environment and lifestyle determine risk of developing any disease including Alzheimer's disease.
ApoE4 and ApoE3 are two variants of a gene that codes for a protein, apolipoprotein E, which combine fat and cholesterol and take them to the body’s lymphatic and circulatory systems and to the brain.
The ApoE4 causes an inflammation, Alzheimer’s diseases and cardiovascular disease while ApoE3 does not increase risk of the disease. ApoE4 is present in about fifteen percent of people. Alzheimer’s affects more women than men.

Fatty acids like palmitic acid can cause inflammation in the brain because they can go into the brain and affect glia. Glia is responsible for immune response in the brain, poor diet can make it less effective in protecting the brain.

High fat diet reduces symptoms of Crohn's disease

High fat diet changes gut bacteria, reduces inflammation and symptoms of Crohn's disease. Crohn's disease is a type of inflammatory bowel syndrome that causes intestinal swelling, cramping and diarrhea.

Diet of plant-based fats, reduced bacterial diversity in mice with Crohn's-like disease. Researchers fed mice with different fat diet, mice fed fatty diets had up to thirty percent fewer kinds of gut bacteria as those fed a normal diet.

Crohn's patient can reduce their gut inflammation by adding good fat to their diet in moderation to prevent inflammation bowel syndrome.

All the good fats may have different results in different patients. Patients can start by trying different fat diet to discover the one that is good for their gut bacteria.

How to identify obesity

Obesity is largely calculated using body mass index (BMI). However, new research may have discovered a better way to measure it.

BMI is based on the healthy weight for a person’s height, but experts have long pointed out its limitations.

Researchers said calculating a person’s waist-to-height ratio (WHtR) is more accurate and efficient.

It could be used, in particular, to identify whether someone is obese, and therefore at risk of several other health problems.

This new method examines whole-body fat percentage and visceral adipose tissue mass - the fat stored around the abdominal region where most of the internal organs are.

Warm planet may increase diabetes

Global warming is increase in temperature of the earth surface, warm temperature will deactivate the use of brown fat in the body.

Diabetes occurs when the amount of sugar in the blood is too much because the body cannot use it properly.

If the global warming continues it may increase diabetes by making brown cell inactive for a long period of time.

Brown fat is very active in winter, when the temperature is cold. People with type 2 diabetes can be expose to cold regularly to improve the use of insulin. It can also leads to production of new brown fat cells in the body.
