Obesity may cause liver disease
Obesity is a condition of having excess fat in the body that is having negative effect on the body, you are obese if your body mass index BMI is or greater than 30.
Excess food intake and lack of physical activity can cause obesity, Obesity is one of the major causes of liver disease.
Excess weight can cause non - alcoholic fatty liver disease NAFLD, this is a condition of building - up of fat within liver cells.
Recent study provides link between obesity and liver disease, being overweight or obese can cause NAFLD, it is good to work on weight reduction from early age to prevent liver disease later in life.
