New method of using T-cell therapy to treat cancer
Scientists have empowered immune cells with a new surface molecule that makes the cells to respond aggressively when they encounter a protein that tumors use to camouflage themselves from the immune system.
Cancer develop from the body's own cells, this make it difficult for the immune system to differentiate between good cells cancer cells.
Adoptive T-cell therapy is the removing of immune cells from the body and genetically strengthen them. The cells are given new structures on the surface that accurately lead them to the cancer cells.
The binding activates the T-cell's killer program, making it strong enough to destroyed more tumor cells.

Hot water as good as cold water for hand wash
Scientists asked 20 people to wash their hands 20 times each with water that was 15C (59F), 26C (79F) or 38 degrees (100F).
Volunteers were also asked to experiment with different amounts of soap - ranging from 0.5mm to 2mm.
Before they started the tests, their hands were covered in harmless bugs.
Scientists say there was no difference in the amount of bugs removed as the temperature of the water or the amount of soap changed. The temperature does not matter.
Hands should be washed for at least 20 seconds by rubbing hands together in various ways to make sure each surface of each hand is clean. Wet hands and
apply enough soap to cover the whole surface of the hand, rub palms together
with fingers interlaced.
Rub each palm over the back of the other hand with interlaced fingers,
rub between fingers on each hand,
rub backs of fingers (interlocked) and
rub around each thumb, then rub both palms with finger tips and rinse with warm or cold water

How to disorganize bacteria for better infections treatment
Some bacteria are useful, good bacteria in gut - probiotics like GI Jake in gut aid digestion and fight with invading microbes.
Bacteria are everywhere, antibiotics are used to control bacteria that can cause health issues for humans, but some bacteria have developed resistance to common available antibiotics.
Researchers are looking at new method of treating infections that reduce the use of antibiotics.
Bacteria infect people by working in unity, living together in biofilm and communicate using chemical. This leads to severe bacteria attack on the host.
Scientists are trying to break the unity by shaking the bacteria at the right frequency to confuse them and prevent communication to reduce or prevent them from attacking the host.

Brain cell therapy can reverse Parkinson's disease
People suffering from Parkinson's disease don't have enough dopamine because some of the brain cells have died leading to debilitating symptoms like difficult in walking and moving.
Scientists are planning to replace the damaged dopamine neurone by injecting new ones into human brain but international team of researchers used different method by using a cocktail of small molecules to reprogramme cells in the brain.
Sample of human astrocytes was mixed with the cocktail in the laboratory, new cells that look like dopamine neurons was formed.
The cocktail was tested on sick mice, it reprogramme their brain cells and decrease symptoms of Parkinson's disease in mice.
An expert in neuroscience said this good result in mice can work in human brain and become therapy for Parkinson's disease.

Diets can cause or prevent cancer
Regular consumption of plant bases diet can reduce risk of developing cancer. Eight to ten servings of fruits and vegetables is recommended per day.
Foods rich in variety of fruits, vegetables, fibre, spices, good fat and nuts can reduce risk of having breast cancer.
Scientists have explored the contribution of different foods on the risk of developing breast cancer, it has become general advice to reduce consumption of these foods: red meat, sugar, fat, alcohol and processed foods.

Fast diagnosis for tuberculosis
Tuberculosis is an infectious bacteria disease that usually affects the lungs, it can also affects other parts of the body. It spreads through the air when an infected person talks, coughs, sneezes, yawns or laughs.
British scientists have discovered better ways of diagnosing tuberculosis by the use of genome sequencing to isolate different strains of the disease this leads to better and faster diagnosis of tuberculosis and quick recovery.
Use of modern technology for treating tuberculosis makes the patients to spend days for treatment instead of initial spending of months. This new development can blot out tuberculosis from every parts of the world.
