Effects of endometriosis on fertility


According to the latest research, women who suffer painful endometriosis are more likely to have lesions deep in their bodies and intestines.

Endometriosis occurs when cells in the uterus are located in another parts of the body and cause bleeding every month.

Common symptoms of endometriosis are painful and irregular menstruation, pain during or after sex, infertility, painful bowel movements and fatigue.

The cause of endometriosis is unknown and there is no cure. The painful symptoms can be reduced by surgery, hormone treatment or use of pain relief drugs.

Women with this condition may experience delay before conception, fertility treatment can increase the chance of becoming pregnant.

Fat is known as adipose tissue, it is a hormonal and metabolic processes. Adipose tissue stores energy, regulates metabolism and insulin in the body.

Body fat is divided into two; essential and storage fat. Essential fat is needed for daily activities while storage is stored under the skin. 

Fat is an excess calories stored in the body, it produces hormones that human body need to function properly.

Fat loss affects metabolism; low fat in the body will leads to low levels of leptin. Less leptin reduces metabolism.
Limiting calorie intake reduces fat and decreases appetite.
 Fat can be created without food, when body needs new fat cells, stem cells will change into fat over bone or muscle cells.

Fat is stored in the body in the form of triglycerides, free fatty acid FFA.  It secretes different hormones. Too much or too little fat can increase the risk of diabetes

Excess fat can increase the risk of developing cancer; fat secret hormones that aids cancer growth. Dieting can not reduce fat cells, human body has 15 to 35 billions of fat cells.

Working for long hours causes irregular heartbeat


According to the latest research, working more than 55 hours a week increases the risk of developing serious heart problems.

Long hours of work increases the risk of irregular heartbeat by 40 per cent than those that work for normal hours or less while long shifts increase the risk of stroke.

Atrial fibrillation is the most common heart rhythm problem, it is affecting many people and can lead to stroke, heart failure and dementia. Researchers discovered that long working hours are associated with an increased risk of atrial fibrillation.

Common cause of cardiovascular disease are older age, male sex, diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, overweight, smoking and sedentary lifestyle.

Daily tomatoes consumption reduces risk of skin cancer


Dietary carotenoids, the pigmenting compounds that give tomatoes their colour, may protect skin against ultraviolet UV light damage.

Lycopene, the primary carotenoid in tomatoes, has been shown to be the most effective antioxidant of all the pigments.

Lycopene from tomatoes is more effective in preventing redness after exposure to ultraviolet sunlight.
Non-melanoma skin cancers are the most common of all cancers, sunlight contributes to growth of some skin cancers.

How to prevents urinary tract infection UTI


When bacteria from rectum and vagina get into the urethra or when the bladder has more of bad bacteria than good ones, urinary tract infection UTI may occur.

Common symptoms of urinary tract infection UTI are pain while urinating, lower abdominal pain, frequent urination at night, lower-back aches, nausea, fatigue, dizziness and headaches.

Poor diet, stress, and abuse of antibiotics can suppress or kill the good bacteria that protect the body from infection.

Risk of UTI can be reduced by wiping from front to back after defecating or when you are cleaning the vagina.
Avoid bathtub; bacteria that come out of your body may enter your vagina and avoid swimming in a dirty water.

Higher levels of growth hormones increases risk of prostate cancer


Tall and overweight men are at the risk of developing prostate cancer. A six foot tall man has a 21 per cent risk of prostate cancer than a man who is five feet because tall men have higher levels of growth hormones.

Putting on weight around the middle changes testosterone levels, which may also lead to cancer. Higher body mass index (BMI) or waist circumference also increases the risk of prostate cancer.

Overweight men have high insulin levels in their blood, which is linked to prostate cancer. Larger prostate in tall men and the growth hormones which made them tall increase the risk of the cancer.
