Vitamin B increases the risk of lungs cancer

According to a new study, high-dose and long-term use of vitamins B12, B6 and smoking increase the risk of lung cancer. Using high dose of vitamin B6 and B12 may leads to development of lungs cancer.

Researchers analyzed data from some patients and evaluate vitamin and other mineral supplements in relation to cancer risk. They discovered that men who take high-dose of vitamin B6 and B12 supplements for a decade had higher risks for developing lung cancer.

Human body needs vitamins B6 and B12 to ensure red blood cells are healthy and to process proteins, fat and carbohydrate. Foods rich in vitamin B are: meat, fish, cheese, eggs and milk, and fortified cereals.

Some vitamin B supplements contained doses which were higher than the daily recommended amount, eating foods rich in vitamin B is enough for vitamins required. The discovery shows that taking high doses of B6 and B12 for a long period of time could increase the risk of developing lung cancer.

Cheese can cure deafness

Scientists believe that cheese contains a chemical compound that could prevent or cure deafness caused by exposure to loud noise.

In animals, D-methionine has been found to help protect and reverse damage to nerve cells in the ear.

In the army trial some recruits will take the compound in a drink after their weapons training, and others will take a placebo.

All will have their hearing tested several days later. You have to eat a lot cheese to get the benefit.

Dairy products increase the risk of Parkinson's disease

Consuming three servings of low-fat dairy a day is associated with the risk of developing Parkinson's disease.

Drinking more than one serving of low-fat or skim milk per day is associated with a greater risk of developing Parkinson's disease.

Researchers analyzed approximately 25 years of data on 80,736 women enrolled in the Nurses' Health Study and 48,610 men enrolled in the Health Professionals' Follow-up Study.

Participants in these studies completed health questionnaires every two years and diet questionnaires every four years. During that time, 1,036 people developed Parkinson's disease.

Researchers examined what kinds of dairy each person consumed, including milk, cream, cheese, yogurt, ice cream, butter, margarine and sherbet.

Full-fat dairy, like whole milk is not associated with the risk of Parkinson's disease. Regular intake of dairy products is associated with increased risk of Parkinson's disease.

Spermidine foods can prevent liver cancer

Cheese is one of the foods that contain spermidine, it is made from milk, it can be in different flavors. Eating cheese like Cheddar, Blue, Brie, Parmesan, Gouda and Gruyere can prevent liver disease. Spermidine in cheese prevents damaged liver cells from replicating.

Researchers used spermidine to treat mice, it increased their lifespan by 25 percent.

Apart from spermidine, researchers discovered that food like mushroom, soya, legumes and whole grains can increase lifespan.

Researchers suggested reduction of calories consumption, reducing animal protein and use of rapamycin can increase lifespan of liver patients.

Scientists from Aarhus University Hospital, Denmark, encouraged liver patients to brush their teeth property because inflamed gums can breed bacteria in the mouth that can move to the liver.
